ALGEBRA :
Algebra is a branch of mathematics that uses numbers, letters and signs to generalize the various arithmetic operations. The term comes from the latin algĕbra which, in turn, is derived from an Arab word that means "reduction" or "collation". This etymological origin allowed that, in antiquity, algebra is known as the art commissioned to reduce the dislocated or broken bones. This meaning, in all ways, has fallen into disuse.
